  1. 01

    Context

Vaulk designs modular CBRN-hardened shelters — high-performance civil protection, manufactured in France and deployable in seven days. A promise both technical and grave, addressed equally to states and critical sites as to discerning private owners. The site had to carry that level of seriousness without ever turning anxiogenic: inspire trust, not fear.

    The challenge

How do you make desirable an object whose reason to exist is a threat? Translate dry notions — UHPC, ballistic performance, CBRN filtration, ISO compliance — into an experience that breathes mastery and high-end craft. The luxury of peace of mind, in essence.

  3. 03

    My role

Developer and designer of the site, as subcontractor. I took on the full build of the experience: front-end development on Next.js, content integration through Strapi, and orchestration of the 3D and video sequences provided by the client — scroll-driven editing, rhythm, motion — so they would serve the narrative rather than decorate it. Three months of work.

  4. 04

    Approach

An editorial, cinematic stance. The 3D and video sequences reveal the shelter in layers — UHPC structure, blast door, modular system, filtration — the way you unveil a piece of precision machinery. A narrative thread that turns technical data into demonstration: the protection matrix, the five use cases, the D-day → D+7 logistics chain. Every section is timed so a decision-maker grasps it in seconds, and a private buyer feels the seriousness. The entire integration aimed at one goal: that perceived quality match the actual quality of the product.

    Outcome

A sharp brand upgrade. Vaulk now has a site worthy of its product — premium, controlled, credible to a clientele that tolerates no approximation. Shipped in three months.
